With a police substation centrally located near the residence
halls, you'll find that the Mesa State College campus is one
of the safest in the state. Officers are specifically assigned
to the campus during the school year, so they get to know the
students and the students get to know them. Officers are on
duty 24-hours per day, 7 days a week at Mesa State. The Grand
Junction Police Department works with the Campus Residents Association
to provide self-defense training, a whistle safety program,
and a new blue phone program for added safety around the Mesa
State campus.
Parking on the Mesa State College campus is controlled by Parking
Services. They are available to answer questions and help with
parking problems. Remember most parking on campus requires a
permit or a pay voucher. Visitor parking is limited and strictly
enforced. There are three basic parking categories: reserved,
general, and pay.
