Meal Plans

Whether you are student living on campus, a student who lives off campus or a faculty/staff member, we have a meal plan for you! 

Our meal plans offer the flexibility to eat in our "all you care to eat" dining hall or one of our retail dining locations. The plans are set up with flexibility in mind.

Resident Meal Plans

Welcome to living and learning at Mesa State College. For students living in Pinon Hall, Tolman Hall, Mary Rait Hall, Albers Hall, Elm Hall, Monument Hall, Grand Mesa Hall, and the North Avenue Residence Hall, you will be required to participate in one of our resident meal plans.

2010-2011 Residential Meal Plans

There are many advantages to our Resident Meal Plans.

  • All you care to eat in the dining hall. Visit us as many times during the day as you wish. Just use your Mesa State MAVcard to verify your plan and you are on your way.
  • Choose from 2 meal plans that allow your day to begin at breakfast or if you prefer at 10:30am.
  • $100 in MAVmoney is included with both meal plans for Fall and Spring semsesters. MAVmoney gives you the ability to grab a snack or meal at one of our many retail locations on campus and on the Western Colorado Community College campus. Flexibility, that is what we are about!
  • To Go meals, sack lunches, sick trays are available to you!
  • Do you have a special dietary request? Talk with our campus dining staff to make sure we have the selections for you!

Meal Plan A

Unlimited dining hall access

  • Monday-Friday
    6:45am-7:00pm
  • Saturday and Sunday
    Brunch is served from 10:30am-1:30pm
    Dinner is served from 5:00pm-7:00pm
  • This meal plan includes $100 of MAVmoney for Fall Semester and Spring Semester.

Meal Plan B

Unlimited dining hall access

  • Monday-Friday
    10:30am-7:00pm
  • Saturday and Sunday
    Brunch is served from 10:30am-1:30pm
    Dinner is served from 5:00pm-7:00pm
  • This meal plan includes $100 of MAVmoney for Fall Semester and Spring Semester.

*These meal plans must be purchased through the Office of Housing & Residence Life.

Note: Residential Meal Plans and MAVmoney will expire on June 30th of each year.

 

Commuter Meal Plans

For students living in the Walnut Ridge Apartments, North Avenue Apartments (opening Fall 2009, or in other off campus residences, there are meal plans created just for YOU!  Let us do the cooking and cleaning for you. By staying on campus for a snack or meal, you won't lose that "great" parking space you found during the day!

2010-2011 Commuter Meal Plans

There are many advantages to our Commuter meal plans:

  • All you care to eat in the dining hall. Visit us as many times during the day as you wish. Just use your Mesa State MAVcard to verify your plan and you are on your way. Per meal cost is less than the average cash price at the dining hall door!
  • MAVmoney are included with all commuter meal plans. MAVmoney gives you the ability to grab a snack at retail locations around campus and on the Western Colorado Community College campus. Flexibility: that is what we are about!
  • Dine when and where you want. We have options from 6:45am-10:30pm almost everyday!
  • Let US clean up for you! You will have more time to study.

20 anytime dining hall meals and $25 in MAVmoney which can be used at any of the campus dining locations.

MAV 40    $305.00
40 anytime dining hall meals and $50 in MAVmoney which can be used at any of the campus dining locations.

MAV 80    $595.00
80 anytime dining hall meals and $100 in MAVmoney which can be used at any of the campus dining locations.

Faculty/Staff Meal Plans

Looking for a quick meal? Don't want to lose your parking space? Ready for a value? Then one of these plans is for you. Let us take the guess work out of what to eat and cleaning up. Visit us at the Dining Hall in the Maverick Pavilion where you are sure to find a variety every day at every meal.

2010-2011 Faculty/Staff Meal Plans

Faculty/Staff 10 Meals    $57.00
This includes 10 anytime meals in the dining hall. There is no MAVmoney attached to this plan.

Faculty/Staff 25 Meals    $132.00
This includes 25 anytime meals in the dining hall. There is no MAVmoney attached to this plan.

MAVmoney

MAVmoney comes with our resident meal plans and our commuter meal plans. MAVmoney is an on campus declining balance account that can be used at any of the campus dining services locations.

MAVmoney can only be used at the campus dining services. Including:

  • Dining Hall
  • Bookcliff Cafe'
  • Jazzman's Cafe' in the ACB
  • The Scramble @ WCCC
  • Brownson Arena Concessions

MAVmoney is now accepted at the following off-campus dining locations:

Pita Pit

Aldo's Pizza

Main Street Bagels @ NASH

J's Philly Steaks @ NASH

Juice Junction in the Hamilton Recreation Center
