Email Account and WebCT Logins and Passwords

Students at Mesa State College that are enrolled in an online course are created a WebCT login and initial password automatically. When you register for an online course, you will receive a letter with your user information.

If you have a Mesa State Username, follow these steps to access your email and WebCT courses. Your online class will be available for viewing two days before the class is scheduled to begin (see Start Date in the course catalog).
1. Go to www.mesastate.edu.
2. Click the link for MAVzone.
3. Enter your Mesa State Username.
4. Enter your password. The first time you login to MAVzone, your initial password will be your birthday in mmddyy format. For example, someone born on January 1, 1980 will have an initial password of 010180.
5. If prompted, enter a new password. Your password must be a minimum of 8 characters. It must contain at least one alphabetic character and one number.
6. You should now be logged into MAVzone, the Mesa State College web portal. Click on the WebCT icon in the upper right portion of the window.
7. A new browser window will open for WebCT. Your class name should be listed on this page. Click on your class to begin.
