The Art
Education degree
leads to licensure to teach in K-12 schools
in the state of Colorado. The visual art emphasis
presently includes course work in theory, art
history, and studio art. The range of disciplines
and media are the same as called for by the
state. Methodology courses in Elementary and
Secondary Art Education methods are required.
The successful Art Education degree candidate
will be prepared to teach all levels of public
education.
