Wind Symphony
The Wind Symphony is comprised of the most dedicated and experienced wind and percussion students on campus and is open to all students who possess the skills necessary to perform well. Repertoire consists of standard wind literature as well as recently composed works. The Wind Symphony performs at least one on-campus concert each semester as well as performances in the community and high schools in the region.

Pep Band
The Maverick Pep Band is a 30-member, high-energy ensemble that performs for all home football and basketball games. Ensemble members are paid a stipend each semester in addition to any scholarships they may receive. The pep band rehearses at the beginning of each semester to prepare for performances. Repertoire consists of music in the rock, Latin, and jazz styles. Membership is open by audition only.
