Jackie Cochran Borello Scholarship - Tuition and Fees (In-state rate)
Available to: Mesa State College full-time vocal junior or senior music majors with financial need and a minimum GPA of 3.0

Brownson Memorial Leadership Scholarship - Tuition and Fees
Available to: Music major with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher and enrolled full time. Recipients must be Colorado residents.

Colorado Talent Grant - Determined by Scholarship Committee
Available to: Mesa State College full-time students participating in talent areas (Art, Dance, Drama, Music, Music Theatre, or Writing) with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Recipients must be Colorado residents.

Colorado Academic Scholarship - Up to $1,000 per academic year; $500 each semester or as determined by Scholarship Committee.
Available to: Continuing Mesa State College students (not already receiving any other school-wide award), with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher will be considered. Recipients must enroll in 12 credit hours or more per semester and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Recipients must be Colorado residents.

Dr. Bruce and Frances Crowell Choral Conducting Scholarships - $125 per semester Available to: Upper Division Choral students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Award is $125 per semester and recipients serve as student conductors in assigned choral ensembles.

Gerlach Music Scholarship - $1000 per academic year; $500 per semester
Available to: Mesa State College full-time student enrolled in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences majoring in Keyboard Music with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Helen Krey Scholarship - $1000 per academic year; $500 per semester Available to: Mesa State College full-time student who participates in the music area. Must be of sophomore, junior or senior status in addition to having demonstrated financial need. Must have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Hoefner Memorial Scholarship for Brass - Value varies from $100 to $500 per year Available to: Full-time brass music students on an audition basis. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Ethel Mae Moor Applied Music Fund - $500 per academic year; $250 per semester Available to: Mesa State College full-time sophomore, junior or senior music students. Must have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Moss Fairley Wagler Scholarship - Value determined by funding available. Available to: Mesa State College full-time student with a minimum GPA of 2.5 enrolled in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences with preference given to Music Majors.

Debra Anne Wiltgen Memorial Scholarship - $100 per academic year; $50 per semester Available to: Full-time music student at Mesa State College with financial need.

Dr. Henry H. and Margaret Zeigel Fund - $500 per academic year; $250 per semester Available to: Mesa State College full-time students who have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. One awarded for Nursing, one for Music, one for Theatre/Speech and one for Languages/Literature.

 

New and returning students are eligible for music scholarships. Applications are due by March 1st. In addition, Mesa State offers a wide variety of academic and leadership scholarships to incoming freshmen and transfer students through the offices of Admission and Financial Aid.
