Best of the West Select Band
Best of the West Select Band began as a one-day event in 2000 when 40 high school seniors joined the Mesa State College Wind Symphony for a spectacular concert. Since that time, thanks to the generous support of Stephen Boelter and Karen Combs, the event has developed into a two-day affair culminating in an exciting performance with a world premiere and featuring two bands consisting of over 140 talented high school musicians.
