Heather
Waggoner earned her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Costume Design
and Technology from Illinois State University. At the university
she designed for five main stage production and the Children's
Touring Company. She also has Bachelor and Associate of Arts
degrees from Indiana University.
Ms Waggoner has
worked with the Illinois Shakespeare Festival working as a
shop supervisor, assistant designer and cutter/draper. Ms
Waggoner has also designed costumes for the Creede Reperatory
Company in Creede, Colo. and various local theatre groups
including The Performing Arts Conservatory in Grand Junction,
Colo and The Magic Circle Players in Montrose, Colo.
Currently, she
teaches classes in Theatre Appreaciation, Theatre Makeup,
Advanced Makeup and Maskmaking, Costume History and Design,
Costume Construction and Crafts, Puppetry, Technical Performance
and Play Production.
Ms Waggoner is
co-sponsor of the Mesa State College Drama Club and has supervised
students on field trips to New York City, London and Edinburgh,
Scotland.
