The Literary Review
The Literary Review is Mesa State College's student publication
of literary and visual art, which is published annually by The Literary
Review staff. The purpose and function of the magazine is to provide
a competitive evaluation of student work through objective judging,
in order to seek the highest creative and polished quality through
a media in which the intimate, personal, moral, and social values
are reflected. All views expressed in The Literary Review are to
be attributed to the writers and artists, not to the editors or
Mesa State College.
Submissions: The Literary Review invites contributions from M.S.C.
students for its annual spring publication of fiction, poetry, and
artwork with first American publishing rights; thus, permission
to reprint materials in another medium remains the decision of the
author or artist. All submissions should be double-spaced, accompanied
with a cover sheet, which includes the title, name, address, and
phone number, along with the number of words (not to exceed editor's
posted specifications), and category. Any submission which indicates
the author's name on the work will be disqualified. The name must
only appear on the cover sheet.
