Media Day
Mesa State College Mass Communications program hosts an annual
Media Day each spring, inviting working professionals for lectures
and workshops. Dozens of yearbook and newspaper awards are presented
to Western Slope high school students.
The 16th Annual Media Day was held March 8, 2006. A wide variety of professionals and MSC Alumni spoke to MSC students and faculty, as well as area high school students. Topics covered subjects that fall under print journalism, radio and TV broadcasting, and public relations. The 17th Media Day will be held Monday, March 5, 2007.

Day on March 1, 2001.
