B.A. (Political Science), Saint Michael's College, 1990; M.A. Political Science), The University at Albany, SUNY, 1992; Ph.D. (Political Science, emphasis in Public Law and American politics), The University at Albany, SUNY, 1996. Dr. Gizzi's research interests include the pedagogical uses of computers and technology in the classroom; the impact of technology on American politics, and first amendment speech and press rights in cyberspace. His book, The Web of Democracy, an American Government text for Wadsworth publishers is in its second edition. He teaches the following courses: American Government, Constitutional Law, American Constitutional Development, Civil Liberties, and American Courts.

JOHN G. REECE, MPA

B.A. (Criminal Justice), Mesa State College, 1988; MPA (Public Administration), University of Colorado, 2000. Mr. Reece is pursuing his Ph.D. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Public Administration at Northcentral University. Mr. Reece is the director of the Western Colorado Peace Officers Academy which offers students the Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification and prepares them for entry level peace officer positions. He also teaches the following courses: Introduction to Criminal Justice, Police Process, Criminal Investigations, Counter-terrorism, and Public Management.
