Information for Parents

How Can Parents Help?

Encourage your student to take advantage of all of our services. . .So you ask what are our services. Well here is a listing of just some of our services to our students, alumn, and community. (Services)

Help your student network with individuals you know who are employed in fields they are interested in. Encourage them to meet with these people, ask questions and find out all they can about their intended field. If possible encourage job shadowing.

Stress to your student the importance of planning now for the job search process. While we are all in favor of students enjoying their college experiences to the fullest, all too often we see students who have no idea what they want to do with their lives - sometimes the Monday after they Graduate! Do not let this happen to your son or daughter!

What Else Can Parents Do?

Encourage your Employer to make use of our services when looking to recruit or hire for your organization. This is a definite win for your student. The more employers hiring Mesa, grads the better the prospects will be for your student. Make use of some of our free services for recruiters. You can also help us establish a successful recruitment program with your employer by identifying contacts at your organization and letting us know how Mesa can help meet your organization's needs.
