2008 Teacher Education Fair

  • This year'sTeacher Education Fair is scheduled for April 3, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Saunders Field House at Mesa State College.
  • The fair will provide an opportunity for teacher candidates to learn about employment opportunities with school districts for the 2008/2009 school year. 
  • This annual fair allows school districts to interview Mesa State College students, alumni, teacher candidates from other colleges, and community teachers. 
  • At the fair, candidates can meet formally with school districts, learn about their hiring needs, and even interview for open positions. 
  • To participate in the fair, students/teachers must intend to graduate and be licensed to teach by August 2008
  • Note to Teacher Candidates: We recommend that you bring several copies of your resume, copies of your unofficial transcript, and if possible a portfolio


How to Register as a Teacher Candidate
   Teacher Registration Information
  • Teacher participants must be eligible for Colorado licensure by or before August 2008.
  • Pre-registration is recommended.  There is no cost for Mesa State College students & alumni.
  • Community teachers, including teachers from other colleges, are invited. A registration form and fee of $20 is required to participate in the fair. If your registration form is received after March 21st you may not receive your confirmation packet before the fair, but a packet will be provided at the door on the day of the fair.
