2008 Career Connections Career Fair

On behalf of Mesa State College Advising & Career Center, KNZZ News Radio 1100, The Daily Sentinel, and Mesa County Workforce Center, we would like to invite you to participate in the 2008 Career Connections Career Fair.  Last year’s Career Connections Career Fair resulted in a very successful event with over 96 participating employers and over 1500 attendees.  The Career Fair is specifically designed to meet the community’s needs by bringing the College Career Fair and the Community Job Fair together to provide more efficient use of your time and resources in your search for employees.

This year’s Career Fair will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in Saunders Field House on the Mesa State College campus.  The booth registration fee is $215.00 which includes an eight-foot table, table cloth, one lunch ticket (additional lunch tickets will be $15.00 each), and one parking permit.  If you advertise in the Career Connections magazine and have a booth, you receive a discounted advertisement package rate and your booth is only $145.00.

We are anticipating that booth space for the Career Fair will go fast, so please make your reservation immediately by faxing both sides of the registration form to the Mesa State College Advising & Career Center.   In order to guarantee your booth availability, all Career Fair fees must be paid by the registration deadline of Friday, February 22, 2008.

Our focus is to partner our resources to provide more effective employment solutions for Mesa State student’s as well as Mesa County. It is extremely important in the scheme of things that Mesa State College targets employers based on the needs of graduating students, thus we will be focusing on not only meeting the needs of employers but the needs of our students.  Whether your employment needs are immediate or in anticipation of future hires, the Career Connections Career Fair will provide your company exposure to both active and prospective job seekers to help your business grow.
