The Club Advisory Board (CAB) is a student-run organization responsible
for the establishment of new clubs and the allocation of monies
to established clubs. The boards consist of a director, treasurer,
and CAB representatives from each of the clubs on campus. CAB is
also an information center for any student interested in becoming
involved in one of Mesa's clubs
and organizations.
There is something for almost everyone, and if there isn't a
club that fits a student's interest, then CAB has the tools,
information,
and regulations to help such students get their own club started
with an account and a jump-start of fifty dollars. All members
attend quarterly meetings in which organizations may request
a portion of funding from student fees to help fund their activities. CAB
can also assist clubs with advertising, event planning, and travel
arrangements.
The CAB office is located in the Associated Student Government
suite in the W.W. Campbell College Center. Office hours vary,
but the Director or Treasurer may be reached by phone or voice
mail at 248-1111.
