Johnson's Art Gallery

Photo of student looking at artwork in the galleryJohnson's Art Gallery hosts the works of a variety of local and nationally know artists and often sponsors receptions and lectures in conjunction with the shows. The gallery also exhibits the work of senior art students graduating from MSC every spring, providing them a valuable experience and an opportunity to display and sell their work without paying the commission that other art galleries charge.

Like many of the features in the W.W. Campbell College Center, Johnson's Art Gallery offers wonderful work-study opportunities for students who qualify.

The gallery is located adjacent to the information desk in the Campbell College Center. The exhibits are open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm, and on weekends for special school events. Exhibits generally rotate in and out every two-weeks and are a variety of everything from modern installation art to traditional two-dimensional drawings and paintings. The gallery allows all students and faculty the opportunity, on-campus, to pause in the midst of their often-hectic schedules to view beautiful and intriguing expressions of life and imagination.
