On-Campus Living

By living in the residence halls and apartments you will have one of the most unique and rewarding experiences during your time at Mesa State. The success of your community environment will be greatly impacted by the way you interact with others. Living conditions that encourage and foster academic and personal development are based upon the fundamental respect for the rights of others in each residential community. During your stay here, you will encounter people with different lifestyles. Take this opportunity to get to know someone who is different from yourself; you might find out they are not that different. Making the most out of your on-campus experience can be summed up in two words: respect and flexibility!

Living on campus is much more than just a place to eat, sleep, study and have fun - it is an integral part of the educational experience you receive by attending college. Mesa State provides numerous opportunities for you to get involved in campus organizations. When you participate in an organization, club, activity or program, not only do you get to meet others with similar interests, and have fun, but you also gain interpersonal and leadership skills. It is only through your involvement in these activities that Mesa State is able to offer so many diverse programs. Find out more about how to get involved by checking out our web pages, contacting your Resident Assistant, or calling Residence Hall Association at x4393.
