FLEX Accounts

The FLEX money account is our second optional, prepaid, convenience account. MAVcard holders may validate this account by depositing money of any denomination in to their FLEX account. FLEX money is accepted at a variety of locations campus wide such as the Bookstore, Parking Services and parking meters, Business Office, game room, outdoor program, recreation center, and the Tolminson Library.

This account is highly used in the Bookstore, as the Bookstore does not allow students to use their parents or guardians credit cards as a form of payment. Parents are also not able to pay over the phone for Bookstore purchases.

FLEX money can also be transferred over to the card holder MAVmoney account in the event that a patron has deposited too much money in their FLEX account or if they need MAVmoney for food related purchases. Once transferred to MAVmoney, deposits cannot be transferred back to the FLEX account.

Deposits and Account Balance Inquiries
FLEX account deposits can be made in the MAVcard Office located in the W.W. Campbell College Center as well as the Business Office in Lowell Hieny Hall. Both deposit locations accept cash, checks, and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover) as a form of payment.

This account has no minimum deposit requirement and deposits may be made at any time. Parents and guardians are also encouraged to call the MAVcard Office at (970) 248-1059 or toll free at 1-800-982-MESA xt.1059 to replenish their students FLEX account.

If you have any questions regarding your FLEX account please stop by the MAVcard Office during regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

*FLEX deposits are final and non-refundable unless otherwise noted in the refund policy.
