Your Wells Fargo FREE Checking Account
With the Wells Fargo Free Checking Account, MSC students have
all the convenience and buying power of a traditional checking
account which can be used as their primary checking account. Students
will also have the convenience of direct deposit of student payroll.
Wells Fargo Free Checking Account
Students can use the Financial Service for all their banking
needs. Students have unlimited check writing capability, at no
charge. There is no monthly fee for the use of this account.
Direct Deposit of Student Payroll and FinancialAid

Students receiving payroll will have their funds automatically
deposited into their Wells Fargo Free Checking Account.
ATM Access
Students can use their MAVcard as an ATM card for access to Wells
Fargo Free Checking Account. The MAVcard is accepted at all Wells
Fargo Instant Cash and Cirrus ATM machines. There is no ATM fee
if using a Wells Fargo ATM; however there are surcharge fees and
foreign transaction fees that will incur if the card is used at
a non-Wells Fargo ATM. For added security, a 4-digit Personal
Identification Number (PIN) is required. You need to keep the
PIN secure; do not write your PIN on your MAVcard or anything
that is easily associated with the card.
Point-of-Sale Purchases
Students can also use their MAVcard instead of a check at locations
both on and off campus, which accept INTERLINK for purchases.
The INTERLINK network requires a 4-digit PIN for all purchases.
This PIN increases the security of the students' money.
Online Banking
At no cost, students may access their account online to check
the balance or make transfers to other Wells
Fargo Accounts. You may also sign up to pay bills on-line
using Wells Fargo's bill payment system.
You may also sign up for a Wells
Fargo College Checkingsm Account.
Saving Accounts
Students may open a Saving Account to compliment the Wells Fargo
Free Checking Account. Transferring money from one account to
another is as simple as a phone call. You can also transfer money
at an ATM if you attach your savings account to your MAVcard.
On Campus Customer Service
Students can get assistance with their account at the Wells Fargo
Banking Center on campus in the College Center (970) 263-7761.
A toll free customer service phone is also provided for 24/7
access.
Student Loans
Students can also apply for Student Loans with Wells Fargo to
compliment the Wells Fargo Free Checking Account.
Wells Fargo Visa/Mastercard Credit Cards
Students will be able to apply for a Wells Fargo Visa/Mastercard
Credit Card. Applications are at the Wells Fargo Office in the
College Center. The card can be attached to your Wells Fargo Checking
Account to provide overdraft protection.
Account Transfers/Deposits
Students, parents, and relatives with or without Wells Fargo
accounts, may transfer or deposit money directly to their student's
Wells Fargo account from any of the 88 Wells Fargo Banks across
Colorado. If your parent is a Wells Fargo customer, they can transfer
money, real time, from the parent's account to the student's account
via a Wells Fargo ATM, phone bank at 1-800-866-BANK, or on-line.
