Conference Information

On October 22-23, 2010 Mesa State College will host a multi-disciplinary conference on the theme of globalization that seeks to explore the impacts-positive and negative, past and future, real and imagined-in the Four Corners region, the United States and the world from a variety of perspectives and academic disciplines.

Scholars and practitioners in industry, the humanities, social sciences, human services, and criminal justice are encouraged to submit proposals. Topics can discuss how globalization impacts business, social services, national security, criminal justice, identity, art, literature, language or culture. See call for papers.


Keynote Speaker:

Dr. Tony Payan is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Texas at El Paso and the Center for Inter-American and Border Studies.
